Information and Registration You will find nestled among the rolling hills of the Bluegrass the city of Frankfort, chosen the state capital in 1792. Much of Kentucky’s history can be found at the Kentucky Historical Society’s complex made up of the Kentucky History Center, the Old State Capitol, and the Kentucky Military History Museum. Why not make plans to come to Frankfort in advance of the seminar for research? The hours of operation for the KHS library are Tuesday-Saturday, 8 am- 4 pm. Do not overlook the Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives on Coffee Tree Road (open Monday through Friday). Downtown Frankfort offers a variety of shops, bookstores, and eating places, all within walking distance of the Kentucky History Center. Vendors Welcome
